Accommodation

Bermuda House has high quality accommodation for ten people in five bedrooms plus a double folding bed on the ground floor. The rooms are generously sized and most have either sea views or views over the tree clad downs which rise very attractively behind Ventnor. The ground, first and second floors have oak flooring. All beds have 3 in 1 duvets to cater for the different seasons. Wireless high speed Internet is available throughout the house (WPA encrypted - password supplied), although no PC is provided. Because of the entry steps and stairs the house is unsuitable for immobile disabled and we regret that pets cannot be accommodated. Bermuda House is a no smoking house. A high chair, travel cot and small bed are available for young children.

Lower Ground Floor

A large fully equipped kitchen/diner with long table, chairs, crockery and cutlery for 12 people. Appliances include gas hob, electric oven/grill, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, fridge, freezer, toaster, electric kettle and microwave.

Ground Floor

Front room: a large room with bay window with sea view, high ornate ceiling, chandelier, high skirtings, gilt mirror, original fireplace and retro gas fire, leather suite including a reclining armchair, large widescreen colour LCD TV, free satellite TV, DVD and VHS players, books, DVDs and board games.
Rear room: a less formal living room with colour satellite TV, lovely fireplace, a large tapestry on one wall, a settee which pulls out into a double bed and comfortable chairs (two of which are rocking chairs).
Cloakroom: on half landing to first floor with toilet and hand washbasin.

First Floor

Master double bedroom: a lovely room with high ornate ceiling, king size bed, large dressing table, mirror, wardrobe, chandelier, colour satellite TV, clock radio, easy chairs and lovely views from the bay window down to the harbour and to the beach.
Triple bedroom: three full size single beds with double duvets, wardrobe, mirror, drawers, radio/cassette and nice views over the downs.
Bathroom: bath with shower over, wash basin, toilet, shaver point, illuminated mirror and ceiling spotlights.

Second Floor

Front en-suite double bedroom: with full size double bed, king size duvet, easy chairs, large dressing table, mirror, wardrobe, drawers, small colour TV, clock radio and spectacular sea views from the bay window along the coast to the west. This room has an en-suite shower room.
Single room: full size single bed with double duvet, wardrobe, drawers, mirror, clock radio and a view over the harbour.
Twin bedroom: two full size single beds with double duvets, wardrobe, drawers, mirror, clock radio and a stunning view over the downs.
Shower room: walk in double shower, wash basin, toilet, shaver point, bathroom scales, illuminated mirror and ceiling spotlights.
